A visit from local news reporter Graham!

This week we enjoyed a visit from Graham Stothard from ITV local news who came to chat with us about farming and conservation at Rectory Farm!

Graham heard about us from the Weetabix Award and was keen to visit the farm and see how we farm with nature. He also visited our friends at Ganders Goat, just across the valley, who were also winners at the Weetabix Awards last week. It was great for two farming businesses from the Welland Valley to win, and to champion local food production.

The film shows Rectory Farm in all it’s Autumn glory, the winter wheat is emerging, and the Autumn colours surrounding the Eyebrook Reservoir look stunning. Fay and Graham had a good chat about farming in partnership with the environment and how the two benefit each other, all with the background noise of Skylarks singing away. Betty also came along to sneak in shot for her 5 seconds of fame!
