Rectory Farm Shop

When collecting your bird seed you can now visit our new farm shop – selling a host of locally produced foods from our farming friends and neighbours.

Encouraging everyone to eat well and eat locally is easy with such delicious food on offer, the majority of our produce on sale is grown or sourced from local farms.

We sell home grown lamb from the farm here, large or small leg and shoulder joints for a warming roast, plus chops and mince.   The beef is from the Grassy Shire – just 4 miles away in Slawston, where the cattle are reared on the wonderful Welland Valley grass.  Our pies and cooked meats all come from Grasmere Farm in Lincolnshire, we stock their delicious meat pies, sausages, bacon, ham, pork pies, pasties and much more!  We also have ready meals from Clarkes of Queniborough.

Our milk is from Kingarth Farm in Burton Overy, their milk is slowly pasteurised, not homogenised or standardised, this gives wonderfully smooth and great tasting milk – look out for their milkshakes and cream too for an extra treat!

Locally baked bread and cakes are courtesy of the bakery at Kings Cliffe, a great sweet treat to take birdwatching!

You can also pick up your daily Newspaper when visiting!  We also offer ticket sales for local events and foodbank donations for a local charity.
