Fosse Farm Turkeys, Guild of Fine Foods Great Taste 1 Star Winner, 2020
Fosse free range bronze turkeys are generous and delicious, with succulent marbled meat and an exceptionally rich flavour. These traditional strains of bronze turkeys are slow-reared for around twice the length of time as commercial turkeys. They arrive as day-old poults and are naturally grown to a maturity of 6 months.

Fosse Farm turkeys spend a greater amount of time free-ranging and foraging on pesticide-free grassy pastures, which allows them to put down a nice layer of natural fat. They develop a deep, rich flavour and succulent texture due to the marbling of the meat. So never again will you experience dry turkey!? Comes with a pop-up timer, cooking instructions and giblets.

Fill your larder with all that is local! Our village is in a fantastically diverse farming area, with an abundance of great food producers. Most of the food in the shop is produced within 30 miles of Great Easton, including homegrown Rectory Farm lamb, pasture fed dry-aged beef from the Grassy Shire at Slawston, pasteurised unhomogenised milk from Kingarth Farm at Burton Overy, cooked meats, pies and sausages courtesy of Grasmere Farm, and delicious local free range eggs.
The shop sells traditional handmade bread, plus an array of pastries and sweet treats all from the historic Kingscliffe Bakery. Seasonal veg and fruit is on sale, as well as daily papers, logs and kindling, and of course all you need for feeding the birds and wildlife in your garden.
A friendly farm shop in the heart of the village, the Johnson family have and will always will be committed to championing local produce and its producers, helping to reduce food miles and supporting our local community.
