A critical time for our feathered friends is the breeding season, when high energy food is most essential.  This mix is designed to provide maximum energy for both the fledglings as they prepare to leave the nest, and for their parents tending to them.  The inclusion of dried mealworms and insect suet pellets makes this mix most popular through the breeding months.
