Award Finalists!

We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for the Farming and Environment Award, sponsored by Weetabix

Weetabix buys all its Weetabix original wheat from within a 50-mile radius of its factory in Burton Latimer. We are proud to be a member of the Weetabix Growers Club, in order to be a member we need to be able to produce quality crops under a sustainable regime.  Rectory Farm falls into this, and we have been supplying Weetabix with our wheat for many years.

Weetabix is excited to celebrate farmers that have been supplying their wheat, and those who have taken demonstrable action to reduce the environmental impact of growing wheat through carbon footprint, education, promoted wildlife or regenerative agriculture.

Fay and Abigail recently showed the judges around the farm to show them the work that we carry out here, and the winners will be announced on 12th October at the Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards. We will keep you posted as to how we get on!
